I ordered from here hoping that reviews were just overreaction and part of a negative review bias where people don't often review food that they enjoy.I wanted reasons to rate it higher; to give them a boost. I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant, but unfortunately, I can no longer say the same. The prices have increased significantly, while the portions have gotten smaller. The quality of the food has also declined, with some dishes even being worse than before. When I asked the staff about the price increases, they didn't seem to care about their customers' concerns. I was shocked to pay eight dollars for a small bowl of soup with only three small pieces of meat and broth. The portion size was nowhere near acceptable for the price. It pains me to review this place so low. I used to love it, but there are obvious new owners who have no clue what they are doing. Our egg rolls and chicken balls were way overcooked, and the oil they used had a funny smell/taste. The signapore noodles were gritty in texture, and the chicken fried rice seemed to be an afterthought, with no effort put into the dish. We have been ordering from this restaurant for over 20 years. The last two times, the food was so greasy that we couldn't even eat it. I thought it was just a bad day the first time, but it happened again. At $150 for our order, it was very disappointing. The sweet bread-treis was delicious, but the ribs were all fat, the lemon chicken was overboiled and greasy (almost hard), and the chicken balls were the same.
Every year i order a large chicken fried rice for my office potluck. Always enough for everyone.But this year i ordered lge chicken fried rice, a large sweet and sour chicken balls with extra sauce on the side. Very disappointed. They charged me $30.00. The lge rice was cut in half (16oz)and the sauce was on the side, not extra.Covid is not a good reason to take advantage of people. Shame on you.
I should have taken pictures. The food was coarse and overly fatty, with everything tasting the same. I didn't keep it for long, but we decided to give it another try and it was a complete disappointment. The lid came loose during delivery, causing sauce and grease to spill everywhere. It was also too expensive. They have permanently lost my business.
I have seen people walk out simply because of cost. They want 30.00 for a dozen egg rolls. I like the egg rolls, I’ve paid the 30.00, I preferred the 18.00 cost before. for 10 years they have been ordering here. in the last time, quality and in portions were very poor. today's order was not only wrong, but eating was terrible. it is time to find a new place
