Went there for breakfast today and it was not good at all. From the moment we walked in we were never acknowledged.I ordered a side of catfish and the waitress forgot it. The location was not crowded at all for her to have forgotten. The eggs were stiff as a board with cheese just laid on top. I had to ask for a spoon for my grits. Every staff member in the place besides the kitchen, as I could see, was standing around eating. Not a good look as patrons like myself we’re just waiting for water. Customer service should have been number 1 since they had a sign that said so but, clearly not enforced! ???? Ended up stumbling upon this place just doing a Google search, and it had high ratings. I'm glad I gave it a chance.It looked like they were putting together an outdoor seating area, and it was still under construction out there. I thought they might be closed, but they were open.The food was excellent. They had the aunties in the back with the Crown Royal shirts on throwing down in the kitchen!!! Good wings, good baked mac. The candied yams were amazing. The food gets a 5.Bartenders were also great. They were very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, it was a great experience. If you're in the area its definitely worth stopping in to eat some good authentic food.
My first time in Fusion Flare. We were greeted like they knew our name. Sat down at the bar all smiles with Lexi and HoneyBee very attentive and friendly to their customers. The food came out HOT and cooked to order. I've never had lamb chops so soft they melted in my mouth and taste was excellent. Mac and cheese greens yams rice pilaf were perfectly seasoned. I was visiting from Atlanta, my family spoke highly of the food here. So I decided to try it. The Customer Service environment were impeccable!! Our server J, was VERY attentive. She gave my mom 92 yr old grandma excellent menu suggestions. Everything was delicious and the portion size was nice as well. I’ll DEFINITELY be back!! This is the 1st BLACK OWNED BUSINESS I’ve received this type of genuine service. I’m proud to share my experience!! My first visit referral from a friend.Service was quick. Atmosphere was active, it is a bar with a full menu.It is a small venue, think I read a sign it holds 101 people.I purchased to go dinner for 2.Buttermilk fried chicken, rice, yams, side salad and Mac n cheese.The food was good and seasoned just right for me.I would recommend and will go again.
Came in with my grandfather for Saturday brunch and was amazed by the food quality and taste. Although the brunch menu may seem limited the catfish and salmon croquettes were the best I've had. Food was so good I brought my mom back next day for Sunday dinner also delicious. Strawberry lemon drop is a must try!Food: 5/5
Great music and vibe. The Raspberry Flare drink is dangerously good. Everything tasted great and they made our visit very welcoming. Definitely will be back because I want to try their greens!Parking: Parking is a challenge. It's only street parking.
I am coming back here. The steak and the shrimp were both cooked and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. The drinks were tasty, the music was awesome, and the service was excellent.Food: 5/5
