We were a bit non-plussed by the mountain restaurants in Klosters/Davos in comparison with other resorts, many here are rather functional & charmless. Fuxagufer was our favourite for ambience & rustic charm, it is cosy & (faux) traditional with its wooden construction, sheepskin covers & comparatively intimate proportions. Atmosphere was further complimented by live music & people dancing. It also has a buzzy outdoor terrace with open grill, loungers & happening bar. Food was ok & it stands out by offering a handful of Asian dishes alongside the regional staples. The only major flop was a truly rubbish Kaissersmarrn which was flabby & lukewarm. Service was lightning fast & edging on friendly...
Besuchen Sie Fuxagufer seit mehreren Jahren regelmäßig. Der Innenbereich ist eine wirklich schöne und alte Skihütte. Hatte ein paar unglückliche Besuche, was das Essen angeht, aber in jeder Hinsicht ist es immer ein Vergnügen, hierher zu kommen. Die Bar im Freien ist sehr schön, wenn Sie eine Pause von den Pisten brauchen. Das Essen am Berg ist nicht das Beste, aber der Service war immer super und das Restaurant ist so gemütlich, dass man immer kommt.
Has the usual stuff to keep children happy, like chicken nuggets chips, but also very good soups for the adult. Fast service, no foot. Makes a difference from the anonymous self-service places elsewhere on the slopes. Does not get 5 stars because of the high prices, but food is expensive everywhere in Switzerland.
Great interior, nice staff...unfortunately, during pre-season, the meal choices were pretty limited. My food was good, my friends tasted good, but all three of them (all ate the same) had slight rumblings in their stomach later on...well, it might also been too much drink during après-ski....

Stopped here during a ski trip to Jakobshorn ski resort. Loved it. Owner treated the wayward Americans like family. Note it is halfway up the ski slope.
Gutes Essen. Gute Musik. Guter Service. Perfekter Zwischenstopp zum Mittagessen auf der Piste oder nach einer Winterwanderung. Es wird wiederkommen.

Expect the usual views, drinks, food and prices from a ski station. Good place in the middle of the station to take a break.
