Galaxy Hut is THE BEST! I heard the owners have gone vegan. Totchos with chili and tempeh bacon are my favorite. They recently started offering a new cheese for it as well, they used to only offer Daiya Cutting Board Edition. I have never tried something on the Galaxy Hut menu that I did not like! (And that is saying a lot since I am picky and have tried most things on their menu) Updated from previous review on 2020-07-29 now that they do not have meat, I updated my review from the old four star max. This is my favorite dive bar to take vegans and non-vegans alike. Rotating beer menu, 90’s vibe dive bar, great vegan bar food. If ordering a vegan “meat” sandwich, just be explicit that it needs to be vegan. They’ve messed up my order once or twice. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Unique and quirky dive bar with a diverse clientele. The beer selection was good, but unfortunately I was given the wrong one. The tater tots were delicious, and the small basket was actually huge and enough for at least two people.
Galaxy Hut is a reliable choice for excellent beer, tater tots (and totchos), and, of course, gourmet grilled cheese. As a vegetarian, my wife finds more interesting options here than at 90% of other restaurants.
One thing to note: Alcohol options consist only of beer/wine/seltzer. You have to get the KFC sauce sometime. Place is great, people are brilliant, and the mood is brilliant.
