Stopped here for a quick brunch the other day. It looks every bit like an Irish Pub, but apart from the guiness (a fine pint was poured) is very much a Spanish establishment. We sat outside on the corner of what is, a fairly busy road junction. It didn't spoil our enjoyment. A very friendly waiter helped me understand a few of the items on the menu in Spanish that I hadn't come across before. The menu offers a good choice, to cover most tastes and dietary requirements. We had a selection of tapas. Confusingly some were free, and some we had to pay for. You could chose between a 2€, 5 and 7 € size portion. We had 5 dishes, a potato bomb, calamari, meatballs, a kind of pork bruschetta with car...
This is not a fancy place. It is a traditional Spanish bar disguised as an Irish Pub. Tapas are of good size and quality, and prices are low. The decoration is nice and we like to go there for a beer. They used to have live music, but it has been a long time since I do not see this. Definitely the best of this restaurant is the service. The waitress was alone and the place was packed. She served the bar, the table and the terrace outside. I was amazed that she did all this efficiently, (apparently) effortlessly, and always with a smile. If she is an employee (not the owner's relative), I would recommend the owner not to let her go, since an employee like this is priceless
Great food and superb service. Had some tapas then a burger and everything was first class. The music choice was fabulous wouldn’t mind this playlist in my car not speaking Spanish myself the waiting staff did their best to explain the menu. Would love to come back the next time we are around.
spread games and celebrate san patrick at the top. tapas are very good and you can take rations or eat burgers at a good price. You can also have sausages. excellent and very cozy treatment. It is usually quickly filled on weekends and can be easily parked in the area.
It's a plastic paddy's bar there's no authentic irrishness about it, it's just a theme bar but the tapas is good, it's clean but don't have alhambra which is strange.
Love this place. Great ambiance, awesome personnel, very good pricing. Good tapas and food, and besides the venue itself they have two summer terraces.
Great bar in La Zubia which is decorated in the style of an old London gin palace, very friendly staff, good prices and excellent choice of Tapas.
