Ganesh - Tisch resevieren

With so many good Indian restaurants in the area we were looking for somewhere new. We ordered Samosas and pakoras for entree and it would have been nice to have some sort of sauce to dip pieces into but they were both tasty just the Samosa was a little dry. I had the beef vindaloo, my wife had the Lamb rogan josh, my mate had the mango chicken and his wife opted for the Chef's Special eggplant dish. Great flavours and the rogan josh was medium heat as requested. The only drawback was that the service was a little slow but that was due in part to taking phone orders.

Decided to catch up with a few old blackburn high school friends (from the 70s) and someone suggested ganesh indian restaurant opposite blackburn railway station (very handy for the trip home!!) - took a few bottles of red and bought some tiger beer in house - had a banquet for 6 and was hugely impressed - chicken tikka and the lamb rogan josh both favs. Warm and comfortable and friendly service - and reasonably priced given the quality of food and service. We all had a great night and will definitely go back again soon. Cheers mike mac.

Great Indian restaurant opposite Blackburn railway station.Has an enchanting atmosphere of an upmarket restaurant, but with very reasonable prices. Offer BYO and also a good wine list. We asked for a vegetarian Banquet for 2 and mild taste. All food was presented promptly and tasted absolutely fantastic. Service is polite and food prepared fresh. I will be coming back here again.

So surprised been here many times over the years. Has it changed hands? new cooks? We had butter chicken and korma. Just no evidence of the beautiful spices usually in indian food. The butter chicken was laced with sugar, tasted like a desert not a main and the korma tasted like chicken stock- bland & boring. Returned after a long absence and was pleasantly surprised. Nice hard working staff who manage to keep everyone happy. We enjoyed a selection of entrees and shared the mains which were filling. The chef's sauces were thick and delicately spiced to enhance each dish. A very enjoyable meal had by all.Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

We continue to return to this restaurant just opposite Blackburn station. The service is terrific and they take the time to get to know the customer accommodating all tastes. A great selection of traditional Indian food. We request spicy hot because that's how we like it!

A great Indian restaurant situated opposite Blackburn Station. Great for those nights when you just don't want to cook, grab a takeaway or eat in. Fabulous food, and great service.Always seems to be popular, worth the travel if you are just outside Blackburn as well.

Really enjoyed our vegetarian banquets! Samosas were especially fabulous! Despite the restaurant being very busy there were only a few minor delays. Lovely hospitality, a great evening had by all. Definitely will return again and again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Delicious Indian food in the heart of Blackburn...we had take away, and the set menu for 4 people was not only good value for money but enough food to feed 6 people.
