With an absence of many vegan options in Coronado, the intentionality of the Buono Forchetta menu was def appreciated. We ordered the charcuterie board with a garlic flatbread. It was the perfect light lunch that offered a variety of flavors. The ambience was really cool—the restaurant was set up in an old car mechanic garage. We loved the little shop with all the gourmet Italian imports and even picked up some holiday gifts there. While the restaurant doesn’t yet have vegan desserts on the menu, they do have some treats in the store.

my nabeby enjoyed his mushroom paste, but I found the beet salad to be inconceivable. the beet should have been added to roasted and seasoned nuts for vegans. while server and staff were friendly, it was slow and most likely suffering from the shortage of work.
make sure they want tomato sauce when ordering the vegan pizza! otherwise the pizzas come without sauce. also the pizzas are amazing. large vegan cheese and other vegan dishes on the menu.
