I've been visiting Garcia's for over 20 years, first at their original location in Duncraig and more recently at their location in Padbury. Over the years I've had many good meals. Last night I went to Garcia's for a meal and was pretty disgusted with the toilets: bad, bad smell; sinks and benches that were dirty; a floor that really needs a mop. I've always wondered about a Restaurant that has terrible toilets. These toilets looked like they'd not been cleaned in a long time.Also, one female staff member (who I think is the owner) was handing drinks to customers with her fingers around the rim of the glass, which is not the best service standard if someones going to be then drinking out of...
Dined at Garcias numerous times over the years but have found its no way near the quality it use to be . Three of my family had the nachos , my mums was disgusting with the chicken dry and the whole meal stuck together . I ate the chilli Concarne with was good. We decided to have some coffees after but the machine was broken. The owner kept peeking out of the kitchen staring around the room making my stepson feel uneasy . We will try a different Mexican restaurant next time.
Somewhat confusing to find Mexicans north of the border, but this fun restaurant in Padbury is worth a visit. There's easy parking outside within a basic (dowdy) suburban shopping centre backdrop, not helped by the plywood cactus inside. But get past that and the service is friendly,the food great and the portions generous. Not 100% sure how genuinely Mexican this place is, but the food is genuinely good and atmosphere fun.
Had a group of 15 dine here and everyone was over the moon with their meals. They are huge portion sizes and full of flavour!! The staff went out of their way to make our experience great and stayed way past closing so we could keep drinking and eat our cake!!! Would definitely come back here. went there on Saturday night with six people ,had the tri dip mmm ok . then we had the hot cheese dip mmmmm 10/10 . everyone ordered something different ,and every thing was perfect . except for heat .... it was very mild . which was a nice change .great waitresses . all ways had our glasses full .would highly recommend this restaurant
This is a lovely, cosy, friendly restaurant. Food is delicious, portions huge so I had to take half home. Bianca was delightful, so accommodating and friendly beyond belief. All in all a very enjoyable casual night out. I will definitely be back.
Hadn't been here for years , found the place hadn't changed much at all the food was very nice and the service was friendly and quick , the manager even handed out Easter eggs . Will go back again
