Garden thai cuisine

Last time we ate at the popular Red Basil Thai in Victoria Park the staff told us they'd opened another restaurant further up Albany Highway in East Victoria Park. We booked at Garden Thai for my dad's 77th birthday dinner as Red Basil could not accommodate our party of 11. We were not disappointed in any way. The food was just as good, the staff just as helpful and efficient and the venue was a lovely old character house on a corner and included seating in the lovely garden out the back or on the paved area to the front as well as inside. Our large party was seated inside on a nippy Sunday night at a lovely long table in a room we had to ourselves. Will be recommending for other large group...

Located on the corner block in East Vic Park, the old house was renovated and converted into a restaurant. There were tables indoor (with private rooms) and outdoors, both sections were wheelchair friendly.We had dinner here on a weeknight and it was quite busy but the staff were attentive and fast. Dishes came out fast and of decent serving size. Some dishes were good but most were average. Bathroom facilities available.

Recommended this little gem by a friend, food,pricing,taste,service overall very good! Only thing is they shut early and at the end of the evening our bill was brought out to us without us being asked for it... i like to leave and wrap up dinner in my own terms, not to be made to feel rushed out as a paying customer.. that was the only issue we found.

This is a great garden Thai restaurant with a funny mix of rooms and seating. It is a converted house with a variety of different size rooms including a outside area. The food is very good and I suggest you book a table at the weekend as it gets very busy. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The food here was amazing....was reasonably priced and quick from order to table. It has easy free parking on the side street and the restaurant itself was clean and nice. Would go back again

If you like Red Basil this is exactly the same food but a big old house and a big nicely done garden. Great for families. Plenty of room. Enter round the back or front door.

Lovely restaurant, well set up in a renovated character house. Everything was great, although wine drinkers need to take their own ice buckets as they don't have them!!

The food here is amazing very plentiful and tasty. We were a group of 14 people the service was quick and pleasant. We would definitely come back here. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This restaurant has great Thai food and if you go early it's nice and quiet Don't be put off by the street exterior - inside is lovely.
