I think this possibly the worst restaurant I have ever visited in an area that has absolutely beautiful restaurants generally. The service was appalling it was so Fawlty Towers it was unbelievable. They have a menu board outside the restaurant which entices you in but then the menu cards inside don't match the food outside. Because their English isn't good, they can't work out what you are trying to order. On the day we were there, it was primarily Spanish people, who were literally laughing at the staff member for being so poor. With so many beautiful restaurants in this area, for God's sake avoid this place and don't waste your money.
We tried this place as near to our hotel and looked nice. However we were treated with disdain at our (poor albeit still made an effort) attempt at speaking Spanish and were made to feel we were not welcome. We were shown to seats eventually as we ordered drinks and said we’d eat, but when we decided not to (Spanish menu inside didn’t match outdoor offerings) we were abruptly told we had to move to the bar seats .. even tho the place was empty. Many other places far nicer, friendlier and better.. recommend you give this a miss.
Comimos una alubiada con sus sacramentos, muy correcta, buena calidad de los productos y pese a ello la noté un poco de falta de contundencia en el sabor. Buena atención y buen trato, le he quitado una estrella por que al haber solo dos mesas en el comedor, nos sentimos un poco desatendidos y tuve que levantarme a por la siguiente botella de sidra, que por cierto 7€ me parece un precio excesivo. Volveremos

buen descubrimiento a 5 minutos de la playa de ondarreta. menú del día (13€ , carta y raciones. horas de apertura muy anchas (8:00 a 00:00 . comida casera: las carrilleras y el scramble muy rico aunque las papas bravas un poco más jotas
We were so happy to find this charming cafe. Can’t understand why some are displeased. Gasteiz opens early for our morning coffee with yummy tortilla or croissants. Really good fish soup and scrambled egg offerings.
Estamos cenando ahora un revuelto de setas buenísimo y ayer comimos el menú del día y estamos encantados de haberlo descubierto. Recomendable al 100%. Además el local precioso y muy bien cuidado... enhorabuena
Muy buena alubiada con todos sus sacramentos. Camarera muy amable y atenta. Necesitábamos una elaboración especial para un comensal y el cocinero lo atendió perfectamente y de manera muy cordial y amable.

La comida rica,los calamares increíbles pero tardan bastante en atender y hemos ido con niños pequeños y no nos hemos sentido muy bien recibidos,al final nos hemos ido para no molestar mas.
Fuimos a cenar y nos atendieron muy bien, tienen variedad de platos y todo muy rico. Volveremos!!!
