When you visit lake Bodensee and want to grab a bit, this place is definitely to be recommended. The location is beautiful and the food quite good. We had fish from the lake which was really good. The Kaiserschmarrn we also tried wasn't the best ever (could be fluffier and on tje outside crunchier; guess they don't use a cast iron pan) but still good. The prices are okay, I expected them to be higher and I was surprised that they had somewhat cheap game meat dishes as well which unfortunately we couldn't try. The service is good as well, the workers there were nice and did their job fast. Definitely can imagine eating here again.
We do not speak German and asked for their recommendation. The person serving us recommended the set meal of fish, which was trout and from their own fishery. It was served with a creamy sauce base and vegetables, very tasty. I had a raspberry desert with cream and ice cream. My wife had a cup of tea. The service was excellent and the view of the lake stunning, Fully recommend this restaurant and come back again,
Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Leider können wir nicht sagen, dass uns das Essen geschmeckt hat. Die cremige Fischsuppe hatte keinen Fischgeschmack oder Fisch darin. Der geräucherte Fisch war herrlich, wurde aber auf einem billigen und langweiligen Salat serviert. Käsespätzle waren ok, schmeckten aber trocken.
We ate in this establishment about 12 years ago as part of a wedding we attended . Obviously i cannot speak for the current standards, but the views and walks were stunning, abd they wont have changed . As a matter of interest, the food , on outrvisit was very reasonably priced and of excellent quality
