we have been in this restaurant for years, although it is only averaged for me - in contrast to my parents - or that, when you can actually expect from a restaurant of this (price) class. fairly, I must mention that I don't eat meat and the forest home is probably popular mainly due to the meats on the hot stone (vegetarians should stay away due to the odour missions.) but I eat fish, but probably never again in the forest home. because of the very limited alternative (pangasius and crevetten,) we have all decided to use felchenfilet in the bleeding, although I tend to avoid using fish in this species. for once we were all agreed: the fish tasted after nothing, at least after bungry. without...
Obwohl anscheinend etwas schiefgelaufen ist bei der Reservierung, wurden wir (6 Personen) nach kurzer Wartezeit trotz voller Terrasse platziert :-) Das war sehr nett und ich habe es wirklich geschätzt. Das Essen, vom Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch, war einfach traumhaft und unser Kellner war sehr nett und brachte mir eine Vase für meine Blumen (wie bereits erwähnt: mit voller Terrasse und sehr vielen Leuten, einschließlich Prominenz) sind wir zum Waldheim zurückgekommen ;-) Wir waren vollkommen begeistert vom Essen, dem Service und dem schönen Ambiente.

restaurants with many cordon bleue and meat on hot stone I usually avoid, because this suggests a simple kitchen. but the seasonal sparingly map looked promising and then we were surprised with the daymenu during our visit and this was simply excellent! from the good bärlauchsuppe to the very special and fine salat to the roastbeef with spargel as the main course was just perfect. very good kitchen and very nice service. we're coming back. during our visit, this was booked locally very well. still 1.5h waiting time for the main course (incl. appetizer) of our opinion are too much. until then we had hardly any more starving, what was the jammerschade because eating is excellent. to the happiness one could have taken the rest of the service could have been more attentive - we had to try to get more drinks.
Im Herbst haben wir einen Wildhof (mit Tieren aus der nahen Region). Trotz des vollen Restaurants war der Service top, das Essen lecker und die seltene Runde des Kochs war sympathisch. Beim nächsten Besuch werde ich das Fleisch auf dem heißen Stein probieren :-)

Ausgezeichnete Küche gefällt immer. Auch die Preise sind ok. nicht ganz günstig aber was geboten wird passt.
