we were often in krems and we like to eat local food when we travel. this was our first visit to the village inn walr and we came on recommendation of our friend from krems, and glad that we did it! the ambiente is...not posh, but somehow they expect to eat good. I strongly recommend booking their table in time as we arrived on Sunday afternoon, and the place was full! to the luck we had our reservation. the restaurant is big and the staff is very nice, christina was our waitress and she was fantastic! she helped us with a menu as there is no English version. for the starter we choose beef soup (bark soup), it was amazing – liquid gold with finely cut crepes accompanied instead of noodles. f...

So freundlich und herzlich bin ich schon lang nicht mehr verköstigt worden. Ein klassisches Dorfwirtshaus mit viel Herz, gemütlichem Gastgarten und unerwartet ambitionierter Küche. Zum Beispiel sehr dekorativ angerichteten und pfiffigen Nachspeisen.

we have this restaurant of native recommened and we were not dissappointed. it is a very well managed restaurant with really helpful staff and it offers regional dishes after the season! Do not miss this opportunity when they are around.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Menü super und das selbstgemachte Cordon Bleu war herrlich. Der Preis war moderat und die Frittatensuppe war von Mama und nicht aus der Dose. Spitze!
