Wir haben dieses Restaurant gestern Abend unserer Reise gefunden. Schade. Ein kleines, traditionelles österreichisches Restaurant. Intim und komfortabel im vorderen Teil des Restaurants. Ein freundlicher Empfang und exzellenter Service. Der wahre Star war das Essen. Auf dieser Reise waren wir... in Salzburg und Judenburg. Das Essen in diesem Restaurant war der Hammer. Ein Gericht aus geräuchertem Schinken, Salat und Gulasch, garniert mit Apfelstrudel und Kaffee. Es war toll. Wenn wir zurück nach Melk kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall hier essen.
We stayed in Melk for several days and had dinner with friends in this unique home and restaurant. The food and service were very good. The young man taking the orders was very attentive. The food was local, fresh and very tasty. The chef was...quite creative with the specials and offerings. We were pleased that the locals also frequented the restaurant and appeared to really be enjoying themselves as well. Don't let one poor review spoil the opportunity to try this food. You'll be glad you did try it.
Das ist ein nettes kleines Restaurant in einer ruhigen Sternstraße in einer Familie (Papa ist der Koch, Mutter die Gastgeberin und Sohn von Kellnern). Die Atmosphäre ist warm und kitschige Sammlerstücke schmücken die Fensterleisten und Regale; eine großartige Sammlung gefüllter Spielzeuge Bären aus der ganzen Welt schauen Ihnen beim Essen zu. Das Essen ist lokal produziert und köstlich. Wunderbarer Salat und hausgemachtes Brot. So. Mo. geschlossen.
this is a nice little restaurant on a quiet Sterngasse run by a family( dad is the chef, mom the hostess, and son the waiter. Atmosphere is warm and kitschy-- collectibles decorate the window ledges and shelves; a delightful collection of stuffed toy bears from all around the world watch you while you eat. We were staying at the hotel, and decided to have dinner there. We had a great meal, one of the best we had in Austria. My wife had grilled trout which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin, I had beef roulades which were really tasty. Both dishes came with fresh pasta and savory sauces.
