We were staying at a B&B near the Gasthof Roessle and as there were not a lot of choices as to where to eat dinner, we decided to give it a try. It was the most enjoyable dining experience of our trip. Our German is very limited, but our waitress was fluent in English and was able to explain a bit about some of the food. The rolled veal and the schnitzel were both delicious and should be tried. They also served a very good house drink made from a sparkling pear wine. If you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to check this restaurant out. If you are staying for Saturday night, it is right beside the church. If you really want to enjoy good food in the Bludenz area this is the place to go -since years my favorite restaurant and never was I disappointed. They have rooms with half board as well -but I never checked those out. If the rooms are like the food this is a great place. The food was excellent and the portions are large - the side dished come in extra plates so in case you wish another serving ... I recommend a reservation as the restaurant is well know among locals and often the tables are all gone.. calcultate 1 1/" -2 hours for the dinner...
I had dinner during 2 nights of my stay. When the weather is warm, the restaurant has an outdoor seating area, which is incredibly beautiful. It's wonderful to eat against an Alpine mountain backdrop. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my meals both nights - the food was traditional and full of flavor. The prices were a little higher than I was expecting outside of a city, but the quality of food was worth the price.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in einem geräumigen Zimmer mit Balkon untergebracht. Das Abendessen war ausgezeichnet, zusammen mit dem tollen Service. Der Besitzer Martin war sehr nett zu uns. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Abend.
