Wir mussten noch ein Abendessen finden, als ich mich schließlich an TripAdvisor wandte, und mein Gott, ich war froh, dass ich das gemacht habe! Dieser Ort liegt buchstäblich am Ende der Straße auf dem Berg (wir haben unterwegs tatsächlich jemanden angehalten, um sicherzugehen, dass wir ihn nicht verpasst haben), aber sobald man dort ist, versteht man warum, denn die Aussicht auf den See ist absolut atemberaubend und die umliegenden Berge und Städte. Und um das Ganze abzurunden, war auch das Essen erstklassig! Auch der Service war super! Es war auch das Restaurant mit der meisten Kundschaft während unserer vier Tage in der Gegend, offensichtlich auch das Lieblingsrestaurant der Einheimischen....
Lassen Sie mich mit der Tatsache beginnen, dass alles auf der Speisekarte unter 25 Euro liegt; Als ob das nicht genug Haken wäre, liegt das Restaurant auf einem Berg und bietet einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf den Attersee! Das Personal ist super freundlich und spricht sogar Englisch, während die Atmosphäre gemütlich ist. Was das Essen betrifft, nun ja ... ich bin ein Feinschmecker und muss zugeben, dass ich von der Qualität und dem Geschmack jedes einzelnen Gerichts überrascht war. Mein Lieblingsgericht (und meine Empfehlung) wäre der Kartoffelpuffer mit Lachs als kleinem Rosmarinzweig macht so einen Unterschied und das frisch zubereitete Nougatbällchen trieft vor Haselnüssen. Recommended by the locals during our stay at Attersee lake. Quite up the hill outside of Weyregg, bringing just incredible view to the lake and mountains. Absolutely stunning terrace with conventional tables, but also there was one table a bit aside on the lawn for a private dinner of a mid age couple. Though menu not available in English, a waiter helped to make an order, surprisingly not recommending the most expensive food. Very nice atmosphere with smiling staff, great service, perfect food and really astonishing view. We were lucky to get a place on a terrace, but it was during the week. I bet that you have to make a reservation during the weekend. It is a must visit restaurant at Atter...

Let me start with the fact that everything on the menu is under 25 Euros; as if that wasn't enough of a catch, the restaurant is located atop a mountain which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Attersee! The staff are super friendly, even speaking English, whereas the ambiance is cosy. As for the food, well... I'm a foodie and I have to admit that I was surprised at the quality and taste of each dish - my favorite (and recommended) dishes would be the potatopuff with salmon as the small twig of rosemary makes such a difference and the nougatball which was freshly made, oozing hazelnut. Overall, a must-have dining experience whilst in Attersee/ Salzburg!
We had one evening's dinner left to find, when I finally turned to TripAdvisor, and boy was I glad I did! This place is literally at the end of the road on the mountain (we actually stopped someone on the way to be sure we hadn't missed it), but once you're there you understand why, the view is utterly amazing of the lake and the surrounding mountains and towns. Then to top it off, the food was also top notch! The service was also great! It was also the restaurant with the most clientele during our four days in the area, obviously the locals' favorite, too. This was our favorite meal of our four-day stay and so glad we thought to check out TripAdvisor!
Probably the best dinner we have had on our visit to the lakes this summer. Absolutely stunning views, attentive service and great local Austrian food. We all enjoyed all three courses and there is also a fine range of beer and wine. Later in the evening, braziers are lit so you can sit and enjoy the stunning views across Attersee while enjoying your digestif or coffee. Really pretty great.
