We were sent there by our landlords after a long hike as this restaurant would serve hot food until 8pm. This was also confirmed on the homepage. At 7:35pm we were greeted by an extremely rude waiter who claimed that there were differences between theory and practice. The kitchen has been closed since 7 p.m. due to high demand. There were exactly two tables occupied in the restaurant ?! . Our request for a cold snack was also briskly rejected. Instead, we should walk 25 minutes to a pizzeria a bus no longer runs at this time . Absolute impudence! This is how you scare away any tourist in this region, we won't be coming back!
After the hike to the Wimbachgrieshütte we stopped here and felt so well taken care of that we came back to eat a second time during our week of vacation. A quiet, friendly atmosphere meets full-blooded restaurateurs here. Unobtrusive service, fresh cuisine, good portions, we were completely thrilled. Nach einer sehr anstrengenden Wanderung haben wir im ersten Restaurant, das wir gefunden haben, angehalten und es war ein Volltreffer. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen war ebenfalls köstlich. Mein Freund hatte Käsespätzle, die für den Preis eine wirklich gute Portion waren. Ich hatte Rindergulasch und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich selten so ein gutes Gulasch hatte. Absolute Empfehlung!

The food is great and comparatively cheap. The service is nice and it's really comfortable both inside and outside. Cash and card payment is possible. You just have to remember that if you arrive by car you have to pay a minimum of €6 for the parking ticket.
Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit großartigen Gastgebern! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und eine hervorragende Kombination aus traditionellen und amerikanischen Gerichten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Besuch in Ramsau wiederkommen!
