My husband and I chose this place because it looked welcoming from outside, and the place was really close to our hotel. When we came in we said hello, and a woman talking to an American in a German accent barely acknowledged us. Big change from all the welcoming and friendliness we had experienced so far in Colombia. The waiter (Colombian) took our order right away. The owner came to the table to quickly prepare our table, and when I tried small talking with her (I speak German myself), I was met with unfriendliness and attitude. We overheard her conversation with the American tourist (not eavesdropping, they spoke loudly), we could hear her complaining about how inefficient Colombians were...
It's always great to go to a restaurant where service is quick and efficient. The restaurant space is small which is great for those of us trying to escape the large tourist crowds. The breakfast was well made and was well proportioned for the cost! The service is great as well. If you aren't keen on cats or dogs then skip this place as there are on the premises, but if you can work past that you'll love the place.
Gato negroI wondered into this cofeebar for the architecture. It's, as the owner told me, the only colonial house in the street. I liked the spaces, the little courtyard, the tasteful decorations and the overall peaceful atmosphere. They serve a very decent breakfast at a fair price. Especially considering all bread, cereals and jam are homemade. Last but not least WiFi worked well.
A very tranquil place on a very busy street in getsemani. Had breakfast here a couple of times and the crepes are wonderful. The coffee is really good too. Loved the cute cats! Definitely recommend going here. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Knus restaurantje met een heerlijk ontbijt voor 3 euro!Yoghurt met vers fruit, koffie en jus!Ook een omelet met groenten was heerlijk!Tevens een goede wifi verbinding, echt een aanrader!
This cafe became out regular morning spot during the weeks we were in Cartagena. European-style food with Colombian touch , plus wifi. Elke, the owner, is a good resource for travelers.

Some of the best crepes I’ve ever had! Such a quaint and quiet little place with good service, kitties and iced coffee! Also the prices are unbeatable!
