I ordered a strong skinny latte, which was excellent — the coffee flavor was great, and the milk froth was just right. The food on display looked appealing, but I was particularly drawn to the (partly) open kitchen, which was spotless. I decided to go with scrambled eggs on sourdough. When the dish arrived, the scrambled eggs looked creamy and buttery, garnished with some partially dried parsley. They tasted even better than they looked — absolutely perfect! excellent. eating, crying, service. it is not a meal, it is a celebration. the croquettes are a must! at least the half of the participants order and share. the weepings never fail. Ever since moving to Ormond, Gauge Espresso has been my favourite local place to visit for coffee and lunch. My partner and I have been so excited for the dinner addition.Zeth the owner and all the staff are so lovely and the food is simply magnificent. Highly recommend !
I was really pleased to discover this charming local bistro. The food is exceptional, the service is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. The standout for me was the crème brûlée—it was outstanding! I would definitely return.
We stopped in for coffee and cake. The food was great and the service very friendly. Our baby was welcome and catered for as well. Visiting family from Brisbane, will most likely stop here again on our next trip.
