Staff were nice enough, but food was not good. I had a roast beef and gravy roll, the bread was better than the beef. The beef was from Woolworths deli and taste nothing like beef. Cheese and bacon potato cakes was horrible and the dim Sims weren't much better. I'd rather eat a 6 week old dimsim 19 dollars for a beef roll, 3 dimsims, a potato cake and a drink. Arguably the best dim sims in the greater Hobart area (and we've tried quite a few), and they're incredibly affordable—just $2 for 4 dim sims! You won't find a better deal anywhere. On top of that, the fish and chips are fantastic as well. I used to live in the area, and it's wonderful to come back after 10 to 20 years and see that the food quality is still excellent, the service is great, and walking into the shop brings back so many fond memories.
Hands down one of the best takeaways in Tas. As a tradie trying to eat less meat, I was very excited to try their veggie burger with two potato cakes instead of the veggie potato. Add two eggs and some siracha, this was without a doubt top 3 veggie burgers I've had in my life. Doing a build around the corner, I look forward to coming in once a week, not only because of the food but the pleasant team behind the counter. Cheers, guys.

Best fish and chips, loaded gravy lamb and deconstructed souva ever. This place is awesome and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Pity we’re heading back to Vic tonight else we would have been back in a flash. Keep up the good work!
I've been coming here for fish and chips for as long as I can remember, and the service has always been fantastic. The staff genuinely cares about how I've been, especially if they haven't seen me in a while.
If I could give a negative star I would. Probably the worst fish and chip my family has ever had, the three of us took one bite and could not eat any more it was that bad, went straight to the bin

The fish and chips are fantastic, and the calamari is especially delicious! Plus, every meal includes a complimentary soft drink.
