After a long day of hiking over the mountain from Deia to Valldemossa we were in need of some good ice cream. Gelati Mossa came up on the map with some mixed reviews but we decided to go there anyway. It was worth it. The ice cream was creamy and and the sorbet was fresh and flavorful. The flavors were perfectly balanced and not to sweet. We were glad we came to Gelati Mossa where they make their ice cream instead of some other place that gets their ice cream shipped in from a big company by truck.
As far as we could tell this is the only proper ice cream shop in Valldemossa, and they obviously take advantage of their unique position. The ice cream was very good but not special in any way. We were rather shocked when we were charged 10 Euros for 1x2 and 1x scoops that's 50 70% more expensive than the average in Mallorca (for artisan ice cream).
Travelling with friends who are gluten intolerant and also unable to have cows dairy. Amazed to find this place does fabulous ice cream to quote my daughter ‘the best mint choc chip ever!’ but also takes allergens very seriously. Very impressed when the lovely owner offered rice milk ice cream with peanuts as a dairy free option.
We visited the area before dinner, and enjoyed an ice cream in a cone. Four ice creams cost €8. We tried the coffee, chocolate and choc chip flavours and all were very good. The lady in the shop was both friendly and helpful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
She was I think in bad mood , not so nice service I went with few coin and she I didn’t have it , then she was acting rude , or she might don’t like her job , anyway did not try the ice cream
Just what we needed on a hot day, fantastic selection, and usually blended flavours that worked really well together. We absolutely loved it. You have just got to try the fig sorbet!!!
Yummy ice-cream and sorbets. I had the lemon (sweet and sour : exquisite ! and my husband had a cone with one scoop of strawberry ice cream. They had gluten free and healthy options

I have had a few ice creams in my time, but nothing I say nothing has come near to this one! Price was quite reasonable too.
