Rob and Tina are wonderful, friendly individuals who own Gelatissimo ice cream shop. If you're looking for a top ice cream spot in Glenelg, this is the place to go. They offer a wide variety of flavors, all handmade on the premises, which makes for a delicious and satisfying treat. The owners are enjoyable to talk to and clearly take pride in their work. I give this place five stars all the way to my belly.
I had a double treat with my waffle at this restaurant. It was a delightful experience to have my two favorite sweets on one plate. The waffle ice cream sandwich came with 2 scoops of ice cream and I chose my favorite flavors, Rum Raisin and Pistachio. The waffles were warm and delicious. I was fortunate to get a great deal on it, buying one and getting one free.
This Gelatissimo is located in a beautiful spot near the beach, and I was pleased to find that half of their Gelato display is vegan! I tried the "96% sugar-free chocolate" flavor, and it was absolutely delicious. Despite its name, it wasn't overly bitter or overly sweet; it actually tasted quite similar to traditional milk gelato. Absolute fantastic customer service from the lady behind the counter. This location beats all else because they have 3 varieties of 96% sugar free sorbet/ ice cream... This will be perfect for those that have a sweet tooth but need to watch their sugar level. Thank you for the lovely service and sorbet.
There are a lot of vegan choices on the menu that are clearly labeled and reasonably priced. The dishes smell delicious, like caramel mudcake, strawberry and cream, and cookies and cream. They also offer vegan sorbet options for those looking for something different.
Delicious raspberry, lemon was too tart and not creamy enough compared to others I’ve had. Some great dairy free options. Not too pricey. Good service
