Gene's Jude's - Tisch resevieren

Gene Jude 's is a classic example of keep it simple and they excel at it. You can get a hot dog, you can get fries, you can get a tamale, or you can get a soda, and that 's pretty much it. They don 't even do a full Chicago drag it though the garden style dog, which keeps the fuss to a minimum when ordering, and keeps the (often long) line moving at a decent pace. If you 've never been here before, be forewarned that unless you request otherwise, the fries you get with your dog are going to be served *on* your dog, which I love, but I 've heard a few newbies complain about. I really enjoyed the fries at this restaurant. The hot dog was messy but delicious, especially when paired with the fries in a combination that surprisingly works well. The service was quick and efficient. Although there was a bit too much mustard on the hot dog, I still enjoyed it overall. It reminded me of Red Hot Ranch, where I could easily eat three hot dogs at a ballgame. The double hot dog option seemed intimidating and not worth it, so I recommend sticking to the single hot dog. The lack of a public restroom was a downside for me, but luckily there is a McDonald's nearby to address that issue. Gene and Jude’s is unequivocally the promised land for best hotdogs and fries found anywhere in the entire United States. It’s located in River Grove Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. They will never ever have ketchup so unknowing visitors beware to spare yourself the group reaction if you dare ask for ketchup ! The russet potatoes are cut right into the oil and then the most amazing fries are placed right on your perfectly steamed hotdog. Condiments include mustard, onions, relish, and sport peppers. This is a must go to place not only as a local, but especially as a visitor who loves hotdogs.

I can't say enough about this place great friendly hard working employees!!!! The food here is EXCELLENT!!! IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN HERE, YOU NEED TO COME SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!! Memories of Gene and Jude's since I was young is as wonderful then as it is today. The lines move quickly , the food is always delicious and a staff is very helpful. Thank you Gene and Jude's for still being open all these years. Can't wait to come back.

For a lunch takeout meal at a reasonable price of $1-10 per person, I highly recommend trying the Chicago Style Hot Dog with Fries from this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5.

SuperDawg is my favorite but I'd rather come here 4 times as much due to the lower cost! My second favorite place for hotdogs.
