The train is a really cute spin on delivery fun for the kids. You scan the QR code on the table with your phone (multiple phones can be used for each table, it keeps it all on one tab) it sends you to their app, put what you want in the cart then click send to kitchen. After a couple minutes the train delivers a few items at a time you use the screen over the train station to send the train back to the kitchen for the next load. It 's definitely easy to over spend when you order a few dishes at a time, so be mindful. I love it here, we come multiple times every trip to the big island. Fun, fast, and convenient. I am excited to try Genki in Japan.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian items, but again this is primarily sushi so expect a lot of fish.Dietary restrictions: This is a Sushi restaurant, but there is a wide array of things to chose from.Parking: It's in a shopping center that has limited parking options. Not of fault of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Ton of fun to see the sushi come out on mini bullet cars. Service is quick, and the menu is surprisingly extensive, offering something for everyone. While the sushi quality isn't top-tier, it offers great value for the price. Initially, it might be frustrating that you can only order four items at a time, but it actually makes sense; you can order as you eat, so there’s no need to overorder.
Neat little sushi ordering system. Fun place to take a date. You order as you are going through the night or day and a little machine slides your plates to your table. Very sweet. Use your phone to order very fun. Food is good not great.Vegetarian options: It would be nice to clearly state vegetarian dishes. We had to look up names on our phone but it was fun.

The food was fabulous the waitress was very kind quick. However, I knew nothing about how to order here. I didn't understand the process, pricing, etc until I was ordering my final plate. Very high tech. But I am a low tech girl. And it was freezing cold. The AC was on super blast.
Best sushi I’ve ever had (not being dramatic), I was truly shocked how good it was! The dinning experience looks super cool with “boats” that bring you your food on a conveyer belt, though I got mine to go, I would definitely dine in sometime!!

Simple, quick and cheap place (if you don’t order too much) for sushi and Japanese food. I love it because the food comes in these small trains and comes little by little, creating a fun meal experience.

Four stars for the fun delivery and for putting a smile on my kids’ faces. The sushi was good. Only complaint is the garlic chicken I had; it tasted like it had been cooked in old cooking oil.
