We had an amazing dinner on Saturday night at George's in Camberwell. Our waitress Shannon provided exceptional service and was very professional. She listened to our orders and ensured that our allergies (no garlic, onions, or mushrooms) were accommodated without any problems. The food all arrived at our table at the same time, and our plates were only cleared after we finished eating, which was greatly appreciated. I had the delicious veal Parma, my friend enjoyed a schnitzel burger, and the ladies in our group had tasty pastas. The three dips we had as a starter with flatbread were also very enjoyable. I tried the gnocchi and chicken burger on separate visits, both of which were delicious. The gnocchi was soft and the sauce was cheesy, while the chicken burger had a flavorful crumbed chicken patty. The portions were generous and everyone in my group enjoyed their meals.
Parking can be a bit challenging due to the location, but there are options available nearby. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food provided, although the display of baked goods near the bar could be improved to prevent them from drying out.

This place has been here for ages in the Centre of Camberwell shopping area. Lots of seats and space inside perfect for small or big gatherings.<br/ Mushroom and cheese toasties are perfect for either a decent snack or light lunch.<br/ Pumpkin and spinach risotto is a big mean meal, very filling.<br/ Zucchini with holoumi fritters, avo and salad is also another great vego choice.<br/ Soy chai latte and hot choc are delicious.<br/ Service can be quite slow during meal times.<br/ Waiting staff aren't as friendly and inviting as other cafes in the area.<br/
Georges seem to be our main eating joint. They never seem to disappoint and are happy to accommodate dietary requirements when possible.It reminds me of pub style food but without being in the pub and better quality food.My brother and I always love going as its always clean and spacious. They are always really friendly and helpful.Reason for 4 is the dessert could improve alittle but other than that its all good

Ordered the signature beef burger and southern friend Chicken burger . <br/ <br/ Good serve of salad came with beef burger which was above average and full with all you want. The patty was not as juicy but still quite good. <br/ <br/ Chicken burger is crunchy and good just need to be slightly more tender and marinate longer .<br/ <br/

Big menu with lots to choose from. I got the salmon and avocado salsa toast and added poached eggs. The portion sizes were generous, the eggs poached nicely. The restaurant is large and spacious but not loud. Friendly staff. Definitely need to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Georges is one of the few places open late on Burke Road and serve up some incredible dishes. If there is one thing I keep coming back for though, it’s their sticky date pudding
