The staff have been pleasant and efficient when picking up my online orders in the restaurant. Last night was my first issue with my delivery order. I never had a complaint about their food. I have had wonderful food and okay food. Even the okay food was good enough for me to go back. However the customer service is very bad. Because of that, I won 't be going back. I went to the Owings Millslocation to place a catering order for a repast. When I got there, after driving over 30 miles, I was told I could not place acatering order because the manager was not available. I’ve never had any issues with the food; it’s always been wonderful. Even the meals that were just okay were good enough for me to return. Unfortunately, the customer service is quite poor, which is why I won’t be going back. I traveled over 30 miles to the Owings Mills location to place a catering order for a repast, only to find out that I couldn’t do so because the manager was unavailable. My experience with this restaurant has worsened over time. What's the point of placing an online order if I still have to wait another 35-40 minutes after waiting 45 minutes at home? The staff member outside has poor customer service, although the two women who served us were decent. Communication is lacking, especially when I arrive and you can't locate my order ticket. When you finally find it, cooking begins only then, which should have started before I got there. I want to continue supporting this black-owned business, but they really need to improve.

I ordered the catfish platter w/ cabbage and mac and cheese. I do not know what was better the fish or the mac and cheese! Although the wait was long; it was worth it. I am a patient person and, to be honest.....it's reassuring to me that a restaurant that takes the necessary time to prepare my food is a restaurant that cares about quality and doing it right!

The food is as delicious ???? as I have heard about. I got the whiting fish dinner with Mac and cheese ???? and sweet potatoes, corn bread and peach ???? cobbler, truly excellent ????. Now that's the way you do Southern comfort food. Highly recommend it,check it out!????
