Gerberstube - Tisch reservieren

I recently had dinner with my wife here and I have to say that the food was just outstanding. I tried the veal liver dish and it was one of the best I have ever had. My wife tried a fish dish that was also outstanding. Food flavors presentation presentation at the level of any famous restaurant and the ambiance is relaxing. The restaurant clientele tend to be more formal (at least inside) giving the place a formal touch. They have a set of bells hanging from the ceiling that play every hr giving the place a nice touch and a topic for conversation. The service was good but it was not necessarily out of the world (typical Swiss restaurant although the restaurant is Italian). I had to call wait...

Waitstaff are rude. Never recieved order after waiting 15 minutes (even though others who arrived afterwards were served). Left without ordering. While we were in no way rude, aggressive, or pushy (we simply waited and then left), I suspect it was because we were Americans. We were very excited to eat here and the reviews are good. So our experience totally rebuked them.
