I've been to many Indian restaurants in my time, but I can honestly say that the biryani at Gareeb Nawaz in Lombard Roosevelt Rd, is the best I've ever had. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the meat is so tender and flavorful. Mirchi ka salan Khichdi Kheema and Chicken 65 is the authentic Hyderabadi taste. I can tell that the cook puts a lot of love and care into each dish, and it really shows.I've tried both the chicken and lamb biryani, and they're both equally delicious. The chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the lamb is fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice is cooked with a variety of spices, including cumin, coriander, and turmeric, which gives it a rich and complex flavor.
The worst achar gosht and butter chicken Tikka ever I had in my life, no taste at all, the seekh kabab were dry like Sun dried kabab, the menu is full of different food but no taste are same for everything. Well what would you expect from Mexican guys to cook for you asian food. Complain to the guy at front desk about burning taste in achar gosht and he just gave me a smile and nothing much. I told him to taste it and after tasting the meat Curry, he said may be is burnt from the chef. Total waste of money. If I could I would give them 0 .
Nice restaurant with tasty Indian and Pakistani food. It's right on Roosevelt road.They give huge portion sizes. 1 plate is enough for 2 people.Food is pretty spicy here, so for those who can't handle the spicy food, just be careful.There is plenty of parking but it can be hard to find a place as there are many other stores in the plaza.They some really cheap items like 99c naan for breakfast.If you are looking for some authentic South Asian spicy food and don't need all the frills, then this is the place to go.
The prices at this place are not like the Chicago location unfortunately. They seem to be out of chicken biryani all the time and so you're forced to eat the boneless chicken. Although it's still really good, if sucks we can't get the cheaper option.

Solid potato samosas at an unbeatable price. I was able to order 24 of them on a Sunday night over the phone and they were ready within 25 min. I wish chutney was included by default, but I should've remembered to ask before departing the location.
The closest thing to Indian fast food. Good quality, quick service, but the taste can sometimes be hit or miss. The classic Chicken Biryani is very affordable and filling. The Chili Chicken biryani is nice as well.

Devon location is better. I gave this place 5 chances on different days and all 5 times the quality of the food has been disappointing. Either undercooked, or no favor.
Food was not so good as they look, we had chili chicken biriyani which was so dry and did not taste like biriyani and achari gosht was ok but naan was
