Overall really good. We showed up maybe around 645ish on a Saturday no reservation. Waited maybe 40 mins but ordered a bottle of very good orange wine to enjoy out front while we waited.Got seated and ordered some apps, the roasted beets and scallop both very good. For mains we got the tortelli/ravioli with goat cheese in a sage and butter sauce and the oriechiette dish with the meatballs and the carbonara that was bolded on the menu for being very porky and authentic. Verdict: first two dishes were delicious, but the carbonara was pretty sad, even though the guanciale was nice and crispy how I like it . What a great disappointment!We each had a great glass of wine, and I mean great.However, it was quickly pointed out to us that we only had an hour and a half to eat and leave.We had only been there about 10minutes and had not chosen what appetizer we would likeHow can you possibly enjoy and savor good food in that amount of timeSadly, we finished our drinks and left and went elsewhere, where we were not hurried and enjoyed a great meal and great companySorry but I find the policy ridiculous and will not be returning
I'm from NJ and this is hands down my favorite Italian spot in Houston. Everyone I bring here falls in love also. Food is always consistent and super yummy.The half moon ravioli, affettati, bruschetta scamorza, pappardelle gorgonzola, carbonara and pucci are consistent orders of mine. Absolutely recommend, patio is super cute
Great food and even better service. Got a variety of things and liked everything but the ravioli was the star. No great decoration but who needs that when the food is so good? We were four and all of us had different fish versions. They were all excellent! We even had dessert, (afogatto) something we never do and loved it.
Wonderful neighborhood Italian restaurant. You will feel right at home. Just pick a special, or point your finger in a general direction on the menu... Everything is great!
Good enough food to make you want to come back and try the rest of the menu. Quirky decor, clientele a bit older. Wait staff was hit or miss.
