My dinner companion informed the waiter her diet was dairy free and he replied that it is an Italian restaurant and the main ingredients are garlic, cheese and butter! Not a really good way to begin the dinner! My companion ordered penne over broccoli rabe with grilled chicken which was o.k. although the chicken was very rubbery. I know this because the waiter, same guy, gave us the wrong doggie bags . My friend went home with my quite good seafood salad and I got her rubbery chicken! The wine was a good hefty pour and my Tanqueray and tonic was delicious! Quite noisy but restroom was clean and attractive! One of my favorite Italian Restaurants! Food is great, atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. You must have their Pizza, the best!!!! We celebrate most special occasions there because they never rush us and they keep the wine coming!
Overly delicious food, (her sauce is the best!, ambience, service, prices... etc. NYC type restaurant in our own backyard. I've been going for years. Never a mediocre meal! Go! Your belly will thank you!
I live in Yonkers since they opened the restaurant many years ago. I know the owners since I was a child, the food is excellent the service is excellent!!! And the Pepperoni pizza is the best in New York
