I made a reservation for 2 people and requested a table larger than a typical table for 2, and we were seated at a table for 4 which was very nice. Our server was attentive throughout our meal, quickly taking our drink order without any waiting time. The menu at Gianni's is extensive, and we both enjoyed our meals. The side salad that came with our meal was fresh and tasty, but a bit on the small side. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning to Gianni's Cafe in Palatine. I highly recommend it!
Very nice to sit outside in downtown Palatine and eat fancy pasta! Everything we ate was good, but was more expensive then I would have liked. Definitely a nice date night atmosphere tho! I have visited this restaurant before and it is still outstanding. The service is impeccable, the meal type is dinner, with a price per person ranging from $50 to $100. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings of 5.
The server was very slow! It took 3.5 hours for dinner! Ridiculous! The soup was ice cold and the main dish was as dry as the chocolate cake. The bill was expensive and overall it was not a great experience. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Gianni’s is our “go to” restaurant. From an excellent soup of sausage and escarole to an outstanding pasta carbonara with crumbled sausage and the always good chicken Vesuvio, it was as good as it always is!

New Years! It was an enjoyable night with friends. Food was fabulous. Only downer, was our sick waitress. She looked like she felt awful and she could barely talk.
