I've been crawling since my childhood. I am now in my late thirties and I am still a faithful customer. eating was always amazing and the shop goes from strength to strength. there are so many shops that open and close near, but ive only ever went after gills. the service is fast, the portions are huge, the shop is clean and modern since the renovation. I recommend this shop to everyone. I always command when I have friends and we get it delivered. the alcohol was also a great idea. Pizza chips and 4 doses storage. I can't go wrong!
I have made the mistake of going here and experiencing the diabolic way he speaks with his personal. I never thought I heard someone talk to a worker who has so little respect. when they respect women, they don't go here. absolutely disgusting they go to kfc or park road, at least they know that the personal is respected.
This isn't the first time I've waited over 30 minutes for delivery, only to receive cold food. I felt sorry for the driver as the service was just terrible. Don't bother wasting your time and money here, it's honestly shameful. There was no apology or anything.
This was my first and definitely final visit to this restaurant. The fish was thin, the batter was flat and drenched in grease, and the chips were pale and lacking in flavor. I ended up throwing it all away, it was absolutely disgusting!!!!

The service at this restaurant is terrible. I felt like I was completely ignored. The staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. It shouldn't be difficult to greet someone when they are right in front of you.
Bad service did not know how to salt viniger fish and chips . Covered fish in salt nothing on chips . Offered large or small with no regular size and staff was worste service ever had 1 out of 10
havnt order in the old from here and tonight I did and I must say that was very nice fish cakes are massive, was for delivery but eating was hot when it came what was great!
Very nice chips and a good sized portion of thick and meaty cod. Nice crisp batter. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back again.

waited 90min for a pizza and kebab meat when it arrived pizza was cold and they had forgotten my kebab meat. Steer!
best fish and chips I had in a wihile. all cooked to order and good portion sizes.
