Brought my daughter and mother here today for a little dessert for her birthday It is so cute inside. We ordered hot chocolate and some macaroons.I had the Oaxican hot chocolate 8 oz 6.25. they offer you either mini marshmallows or whip cream or both. I had both. The chocolate is very good. I did not taste any spice. I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Very rich and decadent. I definitely would order this again. My mom had the regular hot chocolate and loved it and my daughter the rose chocolate. She really loved it. We ordered 6 macarons which came to 15.00Pumpkin pie... Amazing flavorSalty Caramel... TEN stars! Because five stars aren't enough! Wow. My first visit to the new location. Stunning! It's on J Street now, with plenty of on street parking. Easy to find. They have nice outdoor seating in front and a little nook inside to sit and eat your treats. The employees were so nice, friendly, warm and helpful. All of them. They offered every customer a free chocolate sample (yes please! It's like the prettiest French bakery I picture in my head....marble and pink and pastries stacked everywhere. OH MY. Be sure to get the drinking chocolate!!! And the croissants are amazing!! The macaron flavors are so unique and interesting. Everything is absolutely delicious and decadent. Loved it, can't...
This place is so cute! It was interesting to see they had macarons that we nice natural colors, nothing pastel or colored (outside of being beige). They were perfect in flavor and texture. My favorite from the three flavors we tried (snickerdoodle, pistachio, and Vietnamese coffee) was the Vietnamese coffee one. It had this sweet but savory flavor that made it so interesting to eat. I also got the rose hot chocolate, delicious! I took it back to my place and add some of my drip coffee to it...so good. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're into delicious pastries and cuteness.
Truffle Cookie was so soft and tasty. Lemon Gingersnap Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich was delicious. Salty Caramel Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich was great as expected. Tiramisu Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich was hard to eat with the dry cocoa powder in the outside- it just didnt work. Pistachio Raspberry Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich was a surprise winner. Was so good! Vanilla Bean Marshmallow tasted pretty regular and not worth the price imo.
Tricky to find the place for the first time but pretty good coffee. Would have rated 4 or even 5 stars but they got rid of the breakfast sandwich and that truly was the best breakfast sandwich I'll probably ever have. Their jelly options are delicious!
We were big fans of this seasons macaron box, but theyre usually pretty dang awesome. The macaron ice cream sandwiches are unbelievable though, especially the Strawberry Cheesecake Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich.
Ginger Elizabeths is a national treasure and were lucky its in Sacramento! The best desserts and chocolates anywhere! Oh... and the small-batch artisanal ice creams and jams are incomparable and amazing!
Best chocoate chip cookies in town! The macaroons are wonderful too. The perfect hostess gift. My mother in law loves them!
