Picked up at Ginza today for the first time ever. Been living here for 20 years and just never went in. Tried some rolls and some dumplings and fried rice. The dumplings were run of the mill take out Chinese dumplings. Not delicate dumplings like pictured on their website. The sushi rolls were ok. Nothing to write home about. The fried rice wasn't great. The staff was friendly. I found it to be pricey. I'll go another 20 years and not miss it.
What a disappointment. I ordered a spicy tuna roll…..then served a tempura crunch filled and colored in whatever condiments there might be. No fish nor tuna inside of the roll. Restaurant could have cancel the order if they were out of tuna before making imitation. Spicy Shrimp Tempura roll had tiny pieces of shrimp but 95% of that is also tempura crunch. No sauce.
Ginza is a favorite spot for my husband and me, whether for lunch or dinner in Budd Lake! Today, we decided to treat ourselves to a quick lunch. I highly recommend the scorpion bowl—it was just what we needed after a long day at work. As always, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They also have some new menu items and drinks to try!
The dishes are expertly crafted and have fantastic textures. The sushi is exceptional, and this is the only place in the area that offers soba noodles. For service, I would rate it a perfect 5, and the atmosphere also deserves a 5. I had dinner here, and the price per person was around $20–30. I highly recommend trying the Salmon Roll with Mango. I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The sushi was almost all bread crumbs, with hardly any fish – it felt like a scam. I would suggest spending your money elsewhere. However, if you're interested in the Chinese food and drinks, those were decent. But the bathrooms were in terrible condition as well.
