It was quite busy for an early Wednesday evening. I really enjoyed the calamari as a starter. My wife found the lasagna to be very tasty and it was a generous portion, providing enough for lunch the next day. However, the pasta with the filling was a bit disappointing. The service, on the other hand, was excellent and very friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back!
We had an amazing meal at Giovanni's in Park Place tonight. The atmosphere, food, and service were simply wonderful. It felt extra special since it was my wife's birthday; the waitress sang "Happy Birthday" and brought out a tiramisu with two lit candles on it. Huge thanks to Rusty and the entire staff for making the evening so memorable!
Our Valentine's Day dinner was a fantastic success, all thanks to Giovanni's. The waiter was warm and attentive, the food was delicious, and the decor was quite charming. As we were leaving, they even surprised us with a complimentary rose, which made for a special moment. Thank you, Giovanni!

we visited giovanni’s for the first time yesterday before we see a show in the new theatre. really delicious food, friendly, relaxed and fast service. we have booked two weeks again.
Sadly we don't have a 'Little Italy' in Cardiff, nor do we have people walking down the street shouting 'Mamma Mia' or squares where you can watch Italian
Food was fine, nothing out of the ordinary for an Italian restaurant but it was highly priced.
