As a local resident who works on the island, I can confidently say that Giovanni's is the real deal. They serve the best Hoagies in the area, both on and off Sea Isle. I highly recommend trying the Old World Italian on a seeded roll, if you enjoy sharp provolone and prosciutto. The owner and staff are incredible, and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Everything is made to order and always fresh, especially during the summer when they use Jersey Grown produce. I also appreciate that the owner sources his produce locally.
One of the best sandwiches around. I had the Turkey Diablo with the seeded roll. Picked up a side of their homemade macaroni salad and it was fantastic. Loved the small Ditalini pasta they used.
The staff at this restaurant are very pleasant. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Their Italian, meatball, and chicken parmesan hoagies are especially excellent.

This is a great spot for a hoagie. They use Liscio's bread, which is always a good choice (I like mine toasted) and they top it off with some Thumann's deli meats.
Love it here! Sandwiches are excellent along with salads and everything else I tried! I wish they were open later so we could come more often.
