We came up from the Sörenberg side via the gondola and then made the short walk up to the look-out. What a view from there and also from the restaurant with Lake Brienz spread at our feet and the view into the Bernese Alps. Glorious and I would say one of the most spectacular views I have seen in a long time in Switzerland, which is definitely blessed with great views. We were also very lucky to garner a "corner table" on the terrace which made it just that more special. Fantastic..We parked at the bottom of the mountain and took the cable car up. 10francs each only. In late February, it was still powdery white with snow. The ride up was slow and rickety but felt safe and secure. I did like the old school...feel of the car. And February is a great month to wander up as it's not holiday season. The cars run every 30 mins or so, and will take you up 2350 meters above sea level. Once up you are in an enclosed eatery , go up the stairs and the main restaurant is there surrounded by a fantastic view of.mountain tops. Below you can see the Brienz lake..just breathtaking. It may.get windy with very a very sharp chill, but you'll find blankets folded neatly for you...

Das Spitzenrestaurant am Roten Horn ist nach einem kleinen Spaziergang am Berg ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis. Es ist wichtig, es nicht mit dem Berggasthausrestaurant zu verwechseln, das sich in der Nähe der Redhornbahn befindet, mit der viele den Berg hinauffahren können. Das Spitzenrestaurant befindet sich im selben Gebäude wie die Sörenberg-Seilbahn. Das Personal hier ist wirklich wunderbar, sie werden während des Essens mehrmals überprüft, um sicherzustellen, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Die übliche Küche eines Berggipfelrestaurants ist sehr gut zubereitet und wird in üppigen Portionen serviert. An einem klaren Tag sind die Aussichten auch absolut atemberaubend.
We had a pleasant drive to Sörenberg from where we took the gondola to the top and hiked along the well marked trails for a couple of hours down to Eisee and back to the restaurant at the top. The view was just fantastic on this nice sunny day.The terrace at the restaurant was crowded and the restaurant inside busy, but we managed to get a table. The service was very friendly and fast. The menus offering daily Tagesteller specials and the menu has a good selection and prices are reasonable. All in all we enjoyed our lunch at the Gipfel-Restaurant, the highlight was the panoramic view and we even got to see a few Steinböck.
we took the gondola from sörenberg to the top and we were delighted with magnificent views, snow-covered mountains and a beautiful restaurant inside and outside. they can get pastries before 11 o'clock and a good selection of food from 11 o'clock. the personal is so nice, fabulous customer. service contingent detail. a great cup English breakfast tee. I wish they had more breakfast style. the people sat outside and had drinks about an unforgettable view. the personal has done today. Thank you.
Went up the mountain in early October with friends. What a beautiful area of Switzerland. The vast horizon unfolds as you go up the mountain in the cable car. The views from the top are truly breathtaking. We were in the clouds. As the clouds...cleared we saw the lakes and mountains. Lunch in the dining room was tasty and the service was friendly. I highly recommend this trip and be sure to have the lunch. If the weather permits you can have coffee on the patio on the edge of the mountain top.

one of the most unique places where I had a culinary experience. 10 minutes gondola ride up, and then just sit back and take some really stunning views over the snow-covered mountains. service is friendly and fast, and eating is of good quality, but here it is about the view. cannot recommend Summit restaurant strong enough. if they are not familiar with the region, then make sure they bring clothing to stay warm, it will cool: .
