The perfect local Fish Chip shop. Easy for us to walk to. I Usually have Plaice an Chips or Scampi an chips. All cooked fresh while you wait. Always spotlessly clean.The current owners have been here awhile now an follow same great standards as previous owners. They work incredibly hard an get quite busy at times. But worth the wait. The Lady is very welcoming and if you feel you want to chat it's possible otherwise if you just want to wait and watch the TV that's OK too. I'm so grateful to have such a great find so close to home.
Moved in to the area last year. Used most other fish and chip shops in the area. This is by far the best and we have been going there regularly since. The people there are always helpful and friendly. I recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.
This is by far the best chippy for quite a way. No dried up pasties or long time kept heated chips as have had from another chippie. Food is always freshly cooked. No pasties or pies kept overnight for reheating

Order a large chips was surprise at the size of it more like a small and at £2.40 What a rip off. Chips was soft and soggy, not very welcoming wouldn't return again
