I love the Glass Nickel Pizza, as it is possible to order the pizza and pay it online with a credit card and take it home. This eliminates the discomfort of having to have cash to pay the dealer. In addition, you can create your own pizzas by choosing your favorite ingredients. Another great thing about Glass Nickel Pizza is that they strive to work in a way that respects the environment.
I live just under a mile from Glass Nickel Pizza's Madison West location, making it very convenient for a quick pizza pick-up. I would give Glass Nickel 5 stars if I were only rating their thin crust, tavern-style pizza, because it is very good. However, there is an issue when ordering online - they provide a pickup time for the pizza but are consistently late in cooking it. In my last three visits, I arrived at the designated pickup time only to wait for 15-20 minutes for my pizza. I recommend calling ahead before leaving the house to ensure you don't have to wait on their wooden bench for 20 minutes.

GNP has really fallen from grace. The last two times our pizza has been undercooked, even requesting well done. The dough is soggy and stretchy, not even close to done. You need to hire experienced pizza makers who can identify how long to cook a pizza and experienced pizza makers who know how to place toppings to avoid this. The new lasagna pizza was flavorless which is weird considering all the toppings. Again, raw dough. We’ve been going elsewhere more and more lately. It’s just not the same GNP as they were before COVID

The staff was friendly and the food was served promptly. The taste was good. I plan to try another pizza from this restaurant to provide a more accurate review. So far, I am enjoying my experience.
