With approximately 18 inches of snowfall, we were curious about how they manage snow removal. The sight of the skid steer equipped with a massive snowblower was impressive! Given the snow, we did experience some WiFi outages and brief power interruptions, but we expected that. We were there for the snow and the scenery, not the resort-wide WiFi, and we were not let down.
The hot tub was warm, but it didn't have jets (hopefully that has been resolved by now) and comfortably accommodates six people. We enjoy visiting The Clark Store, Steamboat Lake State Park, and now Rocky Mountain Sled Rentals when we’re in the area.

We stayed in the Chickadee cabin and had a fabulous 2 day and three night stay. Cabin was clean, uncluttered, and bright with great view out the back. Nice back porch with comfy Adirondack chairs in bright yellow, good size yard and the river just below. Could here the river when the windows or door was open something we love. Appreciated having a king bed and it was very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking pots, pans, etc we cooked all our meals there. Bathrooms were clean and had higher end towels than travelers usually get. There's a path to a lower glen which is a nice short walk along the river. The Chickadee cabin itself was clean, bright, and free of clutter. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare all our meals with ease. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with high-quality towels, which was a lovely touch.
The river is beautiful, and there are steps leading down to it, along with a path that takes you to the lower glen where weddings are often held. We particularly loved having a very comfortable king-sized bed, along with plenty of extra blankets and pillows.

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We booked all the cabins and had a wonderful weekend filled with family and friends. The weather was just right, and both the wedding and reception locations were breathtaking. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host an event with loved ones in a cozy setting instead of a hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we are so glad we chose to celebrate our marriage here.

The restaurant is situated in a stunning location by the river. Our cabin was comfortable and clean, positioned at the southern end, which made it peaceful, with only the soothing sounds of the river nearby. We had an amazing time here, and with so many activities in the vicinity, it felt like paradise for me. Overall, I would rate the rooms as 5 out of 5.
Moreover, the cabin was not clean; I have pictures to prove it. Every time we tried to visit the office to request assistance, it was closed. In the summer, it's important to have windows open, but on Saturday at 9:30 am, someone was right outside our window doing yard work with a weed eater, which was quite disruptive.
My dad and I ate in the restaurant this time. Good and service was good. A few years ago we stayed in one of the cabins that was like a home away from home. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and living room. It had everything you needed to cook with, along with plates and silverware.
We have visited this place multiple times in recent years for ice fishing at Steamboat Lake State Park, and we absolutely love it. The cabins may not be luxurious, but they provide all the essentials and are always clean and tidy.

Great place to unwind and hangout with the family. River access is fantastic. Pool and playground offer lots of fun for young kids.
