I have to say, the greeting was anything but warm, and the overall atmosphere was not inviting. I accidentally spilled coffee all over my table, and the staff didn’t even seem to notice. The coffee I received was poured from the bottom of the pot twice, and it tasted stale. The Eggs Benedict were overcooked to the point of being like hard-boiled eggs, and the food on the plate didn't look appetizing at all. This was my second visit, and I had the same disappointing experience. It seems like you might need to meet a specific profile to receive good service here.
This restaurant is a hidden treasure in downtown Glen Ellyn! The food is outstanding, the staff is fantastic, and the ambiance is lively and inviting. Thank you for all the wonderful breakfasts!

Never disappointed when we eat here! I have been hooked on the vegetable skillet with scrambled eggs. AMAZING. I have made four meals out of it!
