Glyndwr Plants Coffee Shop

We have visited the cafe on a number of occasions when travelling in this part of Wales and it has always been a favourite of ours. We called in yesterday for lunch after booking the day before. I would think it is advisable to book at the moment as the covid19 regulations are making life more difficult for owners of all cafe's, restaurants etc. The food choice was excellent and everything we had was lovely and all served with a smile. Apart from the food the other thing that stood out was the attention being paid to keeping everyone safe in the light of the pandemic. I was working in the area for the day and needed something quick but local, as didn't have much time for lunch. A colleague told me about this cafe, so I popped in and enjoyed a warming pot of tea (with extra pot of water) and a piri piri chicken wrap salad. Service was quick friendly. Toilets were easily accessed inside the cafe and were nice and clean. Cafe was nice and warm as it was a cold day. I will certainly be returning when in the area, to include a visit to the garden centre.

As this cafe/ restaurant is in Wales, it is wonderful to hear the Welsh language being spoken by the staff, and I would expect the staff to use Welsh as the first option, obviously. The food is always “ best Quality”, its just sometimes even better! I look forward to my next visit to this gem!

Desperate for a coffee, but found a lovely haven to rest and recuperate in the rain. Coffee and scones were the answer. Very well run and a lovely group of folk.

Good food and lovely staff. Nice to sit outside in the sun and a great range of plants at the centre
