We will no longer attend these camps. My son was harassed year after year by a certain child who also attended each year. On the last year we attended, we specifically stated we did not want him rooming with this kid. They deliberately placed them together in spite of our request. This kid stole an item from my son, and the camp owner shrugged and stated that it should not have been brought to camp. (Despite the fact that it was specifically on the bring to camp list. There was no follow up with the offending kid, he got away with it completely. Camp owner told us, This is not a Christian Camp, you should not have expected it to be. (Say what?!? My kids have built life long friendships with other campers and Have loved to attend and serve at God's Mountain for the last 4 years. Thanks for your servant Leadership. We highly recommend this camp for spiritual growth and character development.
God’s Mountain has always been a place I look forward to going to spend the weekend or a week. If you come for a church retreat or a week of camp make time to watch the amazing sunsets, stargaze, or take a hike in the woods!
