I've had this place bookmarked for a while and finally got a chance to check it out! I took my food to go but there's limited seating in the small cafe and based on the time you might get lucky and snag a seat. I'll start by saying this place is super cute and I love the way they decorated the place. The line moves fast and depending what you order you'll wait about 10-15min for your meal. I started with a $7 salted caramel latte which I immediately regretted because it tasted more salty than I expected so I guess that was an acquired taste. I recently made my second visit to Golda to have the Shakshouka my friend raved to me about. The egg was perfectly runny, the creamy lebneh balanced out the hot tangy sauce, and the bread for dipping had the most satisfying crunch.I previously had the (huge) sausage, egg, and cheese. If you’re expecting a bodega roll, think again. It’s at least twice as big, juicy, and the sausage has a really tingly blend of spices. The soft potato roll really elevated it for me.I’ll definitely be back to try more the coffee is always excellent and served fast. The atmosphere is cozy and full of light. I’m giving five stars and I highly recommend.
Would give 0 stars if I could!This is one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had in my entire life. Lena Dunham at the counter forgot half our order, charged us for it, made fun of a homeless person, and yelled at a delivery worker all in the course of the 30 minutes my partner and I were eating there. The chicken sandwich we ordered was extremely burnt, and the terrible service made this all the more awful. Sad because my friends had a great time having breakfast here, but this was just ... Like I've never seen before.
Pretty stunned by the days-old coffee cake slice. Dry, tough, clearly stale. Took two bites and threw it in the trash. Also, $15 for that plus an iced latte. Packaged pastry from the bodega would have been fresher. If you can't sell fresh baked goods, don't sell them. By the way, the people working here always seem particularly miserable. No one should be thrilled to be at work, but they're always especially beleaguered. Seems like a pretty direct reflection of management/ownership conditions.Skipping it from now on. Placed an order on a delivery app but they delivered the order missing multiple items (including the main item in the order) and only refunded one missing item (the cheapest one of course). Then acknowledged that they delivered the incomplete order and acknowledged that they didn’t refund missing items but claimed that there was no way for them to refund items that I paid for that they did not deliver and no way for them to deliver the items. Order here if you like your money stolen.
The breakfast sandwich here is one of the things that will change the way you think about food. Perfect at all levels. Makes me wanna move closer to this place. Very big portion and the flavors were spot on, salt fat acid, all perfect. Will definitely have to make my commute detour through here. Staff very friendly too and the place had a good chill vibe.
I loved this cute cafe. All the food I got was delicious! Really fluffy eggs. The smashed avocado toast was very unique and filling. And the banana bread was so chocolate-y and dense- a great dessert to finish my meal with. Staff was friendly and well-informed on the menu when answering any questions I had.

Ah so good! Iced lattes were great on a sunny warm spring day, Golda platter was amazing, and the spring avocado toast fantastic!
