Goldberg's Famous Bagels

I've been going to Goldberg's for 2 decades+ and was tempted to give them a second star for how good they used to be and for their new gf/vg variety but this recent experience was just so bad, I couldn't do it.Service:Awful, we were the only people ordering when we got there, they prepared my two sandwiches, then they let them sit for about 15 minutes, done, while making sandwiches for other people who came in and checking them all out instead of my two sandwiches, as I stood there by the checkout waiting to pay. Best bagels around, I drive past 2 bagel places to get theirs. I see negative comments about them not answering the phone, but as someone who worked at a deli for 5 years I totally understand. You take care of the customers who show up at the store before the ones who want to call in. The employees are very nice too!

While not my favorite Goldberg’s location I don’t think you’d find better bagel spot in the neighborhood. Small shop and you willl wait some but the food is solid!
