Catching some fish and chips after a busy day out (on holiday and I really wanted to love this place after seeing all the positive reviews, The couple (m running the shop (I presume husband and wife? were genuinely so nice and friendly, and excellent communication about our order. And as others have said, fish is cooked to order and the haddock was really good. Batter was light, crispy and well seasoned and fish very fresh. Sadly, however, the chips really let the order down. If I could split my review I’d say 5* for the fish and 1* for the chips, hence an average of 3*. Hope I just caught them on an off day, and they continue to be great for everyone else.
amazing fish and chips! the sweetest couples are running here. fish is freshly cooked to order and was really delicious. flakey and perfect. also great chips. beautiful people who deserve local support! the load is as if it is from the 80s and my partner and I loved to pack the fish chopper and eat on the beach.
This place is good for a quick snacks or anything you want to eat in your choice. Friendly staff serve well to the customers, give good advice and tasty foods. Affordable prices. Excellent service and lovely people jolly good
