I’m not sure what goes on after 10:15 PM—perhaps the staff transform into some kind of creatures that haunt the night. Unfortunately, tonight will be my last visit. While the food wasn’t terrible, the attitude I faced was almost threatening. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, bringing in plenty of business, and the thanks I received was being yelled at for arriving a few minutes late. As I left the restaurant, they turned off the lights on me. The irate bald owner shot me an intense glare and cleared his throat as I walked by, almost as if he wanted to spit on me over an order of chicken wings and fried rice. Delivery driver refused to get out of his vehicle and said some really racist and disrespectful things from his vehicle while hanging the food out the window towards one of my family members. As I was coming down the stairs to see what was going on because I heard commotion; he was proceeding to yell curse words from his blue van and I gladly proceeded to let him know I was calling in for a refund and I will never support or buy from here again. When I went inside their establishment to make a complaint; they didn’t even want to apologize on his behalf nor talk into making anything better.
Bad customer service. I placed an order and it was completely wrong. I called the restaurant to tell them about the order and the woman on the phone started screaming on the phone saying I was wrong for a while. She wouldn’t listen and hung up the phone. I know what I order, we order the same thing every week.My colleague called back to speak to someone in charge and she said no one was there and hung up again. Very unprofessional and rude.
I lived in New Brunswick and the Somerset area for over 20 years. I moved back to VA in 09 . I used to eat at Mei Mei 's on Hamilton Street and at the Chinese restaurant on Remsen Ave the most. Well The Golde Bowl was nice and roomy. It was clean, the customer service was better than I expected and the food was good not to mention that the portions were nice. It felt good to be back in Jersey and Golden Bowl helped make that happen.

As for vegetarian options, I can't speak much on that, but they do have vegetarian choices available. Regarding parking, there is free parking available, though you might need to walk a little. The restaurant is kid-friendly, welcoming everyone, and they also have a small ramp at the entrance with no stairs, making it accessible for those in wheelchairs.
If I could rate this place with a zero I would ordered boneless spare ribs she took the meat out the refrigerator put it in the microwave man cooked my rice in under 1 min my bowl of food was swimming in oil… worse food these people aren’t real cooks save ur money eat somewhere where they actually cook the food fresh to order.
The food was never that great at this place but we always used to order because it was cheaper. But recently it increased the prices of all the items in their menu and it doesn't feel cheaper anymore.And the food is mostly bland and
The General Tso's chicken and boneless spare ribs are usually tasty, but my recent order was so disappointing that I had to throw the food away. I'm really let down. It felt like a waste of money.

Very nice place but the Fried rice was very gross and dry and falling apart like it's very old Third time i've tried, it will not be back throwing away twenty dollars worth of food
