I had my first and last experience at this restaurant. I was invited and didn't have much choice, but I wish I had. As soon as we walked in, the smell from the teppiche was off-putting, and I had little appetite to eat. Everything on the menu looked dry, and I initially thought baked chicken would be a safe bet, but I was mistaken—it had no flavor at all. I also tried some fried shrimp, but they were disappointing as well. In the end, I settled for zucchini, potatoes with gravy, corn, and rice, and I was left feeling quite let down. The only bright spot was the busboy, who was friendly and attentive. Overall, this place isn't worth the time or the money.
It has been years since my last visit to this location. Lots of AYCE family restaurants had closed over the years due to the Covid19, so few alternatives remain and Golden Corral is one of those. Food was average but juicy steaks were served to the guests, so that was the high point from this visit. We were a large group but the server was nice to take care of us like asking if we wanted a coffee after meal. Kids also loved their soft serve icecream and Icee machine.
The waitress was very attentive to my dad and I. She was quick to get us more coffee and to remove the used plates. My dad really enjoyed the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The choice of dishes was very good. There was everything from cereal to ham steak, enchiladas, and fried chicken. We will definitely be back.
It’s been a while since I last visited this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The fantastic variety of food is impressive. I ordered my usual three courses followed by dessert. There is not much food to choose from, but it tastes good. The environment is clean and the service is meticulous. I like delicious food more than the choice of place, so I can only give 4 stars.
