Golden Crust Pizza

The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. Despite the owner claiming to have been in business for 17 years, I was shocked by his aggressive and disrespectful attitude. There are plenty of pizza places in Amherstburg, and this one is definitely the worst. The quality of the ingredients is poor, and I was appalled by the owner's inability to get a simple order correct. When I called to inquire about the mistake, he didn't apologize or take responsibility. Instead, he argued with me and accused me of calling him a liar. I have live in A-burg for 26 years and had tried every pizza place in town numerous times with varied results as most I found were very inconsistent (ie: ok one day and then garbage the next). Surprisingly , I only discovered Golden Crust a couple years ago and have not ordered anywhere else since. This is by FAR the best and most consistent quality pizza in town and their chicken is FABULOUS !! No chicken little pieces you get from KFC or the local competitors and it is seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. Staff has always been great as well - can't say enough good things about this place - Keep it guys !!

Their pizza has plenty of toppings and cheese. The dough is great and the sauce has a small bit of spice (not sweet like some places). They normally have daily specials so make sure to ask and their pizza is bigger than other pizza places in Amherstburg.The chicken is "OK". The fries are large crinkle cut with seasoning salt so always good!The only think I can say that is not positive is on the rare occasion the person the phones isn't the most personable (cuts you off to put you on hold or sounds aggravated) and ONCE they ran out of chicken.

Having the grand-babies and family over Golden Crust hands down is our go to pizza place. We have tried so many other places and we always come back to this one place. They are consistent and give you excellent pizza every time. We have never been disappointed, not even once. My go to for broaster chicken. Awesome juicy broaster chicken and wedge fries. My husband recently ordered the panzerotti and he claims it's amazing. And baked not fried but tastes like fried without it actually being the case. Get your chicken from here for sure. Best broaster chicken.

Well another great pie from Golden crust. They were crazy busy...off the hook but that never stops them from giving you the best pie every time. Keep up the excellent work and thanks once again for a great dinner. This is were the locals go for excellent pizza.

We used to always order our pizza from this place, but we stopped because sometimes they would deliver and other times they wouldn't. I live 3 kilometers outside of town on the main road. Now we go to Naples because they deliver and have great pizza!

Always a good food experience. The food is fresh, generous portions, and terrific staff. Definitely a 'go to' place for pizza and chicken in Amherstburg.

We have pizza here at least 1 a month. Delivery is quick and always hot. We love there thin crust it's always crisp and delicious .
