I just ordered egg fried rice and sweet sour king prawn dough balls … under 10£ . I couldn’t finish it, I saved a single ball for when I’m next hungry , and a little bit of rice and allot of sweet and sour sauce as they gave me a small cup full ! The food was delicious, it was how Chinese food is supposed to be done not the fake or pakachinise that some offer … maybe the last bad review was some competition or just had a really bad day, I rate this place for the food quantity quality and price ratio in comparison, this place has gotta be the best Chinese round these sides for sure ! Having tried a number of Chinese takeaways, this one is firmly my favourite in the local area. The food is consistently good and despite trying other places, we always come back to Golden Dragon. The service is always super friendly, they always get the order correct and the food is delivered faster than any other takeaway. If you want Chinese food in the local area then this is the place to go to. They offer halal chicken and beef too. Reducing down the rating as they messed up our order and gave us pork in the fried rice. Luckily I noticed it before anyone ate it but that is a serious mess up so for people that eat halal be careful as they do and have messed up!

This family run Chinese restaurant is brilliant, the food is always excellent, best in Barking and we've tried a few. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and always with a smile. The delivery collection is very efficent. They also throw in free prawn crackers drinks when you spend over a certain amount. Would highly recommend. 5*.

first order from here. very pleasant meal. fresh and tasty, not fat. special fried rice, singapur noodles, ripening, chips, curry sauce. I have free cracker and mini pancake rolls. very cheap. will reorder and recommend friends and family.
